Now it’s even made its way into a whole host of tasty snacks. So what exactly is the deal with matcha tea?
The green stuff is one of those ‘love or hate’ things – despite hitting the mainstream in a big way last year, it’s not your standard cuppa. For some, the organic flavour gives off an inviting and vegetal aroma, but those who aren’t so invested in the superfood menu might find it tastes a bit like seaweed water warmed-up.
