Kurz nach dem offiziellen Erscheinen legt dann Raw nach.
Der WWE Clash of Champions ersetzt die Night of Champions. Jene Show gab es seit 2008 im Event-Kalender, seit 2010 jeweils im September. Der Clash of Champions ist wiederum angelehnt an die damalige Special-Event-Reihe von NWA/WCW, dem Clash of the Champions (gab es zwischen 1988 bis 1997 insgesamt 35 Mal; auch auf dem WWE Network zu finden).
