The Vibrance control in the Basic Panel of Camera Raw and Lightroom allows you to boost the less-saturated colors in a scene. It can be very handy, but for landscapes there might be a better way to enhance color saturation. Head to the Camera Calibration Panel, where you’ll find primary saturation sliders for Red, Green and Blue. Experiment with different levels of saturation to boost the scene. In particular, the Blue Saturation slider can have a wonder ful effect on skies.
