editor’s letter
Happy New Year! In 2017, we invite you to ‘create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life’ with our Dossier on reinvention (page 56). This year, we’ve decided that, instead of making plans and listing goals, we’re going to get messy and creative and have fun making our own vision boards. You may be dubious, but be inspired by our readers on page 64. From starting a business or writing a book, to moving house or country, or perhaps attracting a lovely partner, why not put your cynicism on hold, get out your scissors and glue and start creating?
We all know that, as soon as we start moving in a new direction, our inner critic can come out to play, so make sure you read Rosie I fould’s piece on page 52, which encourages you to have faith in yourself (and others) and be the best cheerleader you can be. Whether you’re asking for a pay rise (page 32), starting to write a novel (page 108), or actively choosing to be single and happy in 2017 (page 38), you will love our New Year issue, which gently encourages you to be proactive and make it happen.
