Team Ocean Valour are a two-man crew, aiming to row 3800 miles from New York to Salcombe on the coastline of the United Kingdom in a boat which relies entirely on human power for propulsion.
In doing so, Tom Rainey and Lawrence Walters, who are both only 23 years of age, will have multiple targets in their mind. They aim to earn the Guinness World Record for the fastest and youngest pair to complete the route; the current benchmark stands at 55 days and 13 hours.
