Cyptozoology and Global Warming

Q: Could climate change have an impact on unknown creatures, such as the chupacabra or Bigfoot, or lead to more mysterious creature sightings?

A: Beginning with the caveat that none of these animals are known to exist, yes. If these creatures are real, they are subject to the same environmental pressures as any other animals, known or unknown.

Beginning with the chupacabra, there are no official Fish and Wildlife data on “weird hairless animals,” but I follow all that pretty closely, and from my research those sightings have indeed increased over the past decades. I explained why in my book Tracking the Chupacabra:
