Jerwood Drawing Prize

Details: The UK’s largest and longest running annual open submission exhibition for drawing. Open to professional and non-professional artists at any stage of their careers. Up to three drawings may be submitted, made since January 2016, maximum size 981⁄2in (250cm) in any dimension (framed). Work in any media is eligible for entry, if the artist considers it as drawing. Online submission in first instance. Selected works will be exhibited at the Jerwood Space, 171 Union Street, London SE1 from September 13 to October 22, before touring. First prize, £8,000; second prize, £5,000; two student awards of £2,000 each.

When: Submissions deadline, June 28, 5pm.

Cost: London submission: one work, £18; two works, £23, three works, £28. Reduced fees for students. There is a slightly higher fee if using regional submission points.
