This month’s appointments

Cordium has announced the appointment of Anne Healy-McAdam to the position of private client tax partner. Based in London, Healy-McAdam will report to John Davison, who heads Cordium’s tax division. An expert in the personal taxation of UK non-doms, as well as remittance and residence issues, she will play a key role in driving the growth of Cordium’s tax practice. Healy-McAdam has more than 20 experience as a private client tax specialist and has held several senior positions at advisory firms including Buzzacott, Blick Rothenberg and Maitland.

Kher Sheng Lee has joined The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) in its Singapore office. Lee joins AIMA from Azentus Capital, where he held the position of general counsel. He will take up the position of AIMA’s managing director, global deputy head of government affairs and head of APAC government affairs. Lee founded and chaired the peer-to-peer buyside networking group The Asian Hedge Fund Legal and Regulatory Group (also known as AsianHedgeLaw). He has worked closely with AIMA over several years. He was the first chair of AIMA’s Sound Practices Committee, an inaugural member of the Asset Management Standing Committee and co-chair of the Hong Kong Regulatory Committee. He will work alongside Heide Blunt, head of Asia-Pacific and Jiří Król, deputy CEO, global head of government affairs. Lee will work on identifying policy and regulatory priorities in the region which have relevance to regional and global members, as well work on select global government and regulatory affairs projects. Jack Inglis, CEO, said: “I am delighted that Ker Sheng has agreed to join us. It is a significant boost to our activities in APAC, where we continue to grow, and he is well known and respected by many of our members out in the region.”
