I was lucky enough that the interview I was about to do with former X-Factor contestant Johnny Robinson was in the Rivoli Ballroom at the new Glitter Ball night - a spin-off from the old Magic Theatre Night, that used to be held there, in Crofton Park, South East London.

Johnny was about to perform for the lively and diverse audience who were waiting for him to make his entrance to the lovely 1920s stage. As I was asking him about what things he’d been up to these days since the X Factor and his appearance on Loose Women as the fabulous Miss Sarah Lee, we could hear compere and comedian Lenard Pink warming up the audience for Johnny’s performance. I have to say I was getting my own private show from Johnny backstage. Apart from being a great singer, he is also a very quick-witted comedian and a great all round entertainer and he’s so down to earth and friendly. He was wearing a fully-sequined glitter jogging suite. I asked him if he went running, and he replied that that ship had sailed years ago. He just runs to catch his lovely little dog Bobby - a beautiful little Staffie. I asked Johnny if was he ready for his questions as we both sank into the beautiful Rococo red and gold thrones in his dressing room; he nodded and smiled, so I began asking away:
