Eshan against the odds

The Asia Max Challenge kicked off at the Shah Alam Go Kart circuit near the football stadium. Expectations were high as several changes were made for 2019, such as reducing the event to just one day for each round and dividing the DD2 Senior and Master / Veteran. On this occasion, the live streaming service was inaugurated thanks to the multimedia partner Pinnacle FM requested by MR Promotions Sdn Bhd, which supervises the event’s entire organization.

RACE REPORT

The Micromax saw DRM Motorsports drivers at the forefront, aside from Malik Bintang, the new Indonesian cadet driver who on several occasions worried the positions of the first three. Jacob Lauter wins in front of teammates Timofey and Travis Teoh. Malik Bintang (RL Karting) finished fourth and Kimi Rae, another Indonesian driver who is no stranger to AMC, finished fifth.

Ready… Set… Analysis!
On average 220 thousandths of a second is the time frame in which many drivers react when the lights of the start lights go out. In addition to mental reactivity, the driver must, in the case of the gearbox category, carry out a series of complex manual operations to ensure the best possible start, and the question is: how can data analysis help us?
