In this issue, we look at one of the most important elements when buying a new motorhome - the bed.
Over the past few years, it is island beds that have taken the market by storm. These beds are as similar to your double bed at home as it's possible to get in a motorhome. They provide access to both sides and many have head-ends that slide up so you can read in comfort or enjoy a cuppa while in bed.
In this issue we also report on the key launches – from Mobilvetta moving into low-profiles over here to Malibu’s UK debut of its coachbuilt portfolio. Not all the new ’vans begin with an ‘M’, however! And not all the newcomers are coachbuilts, though several of them tie in with the other theme of this issue, too – island bed layouts.
We’re also reviewing new campervans this month from Danbury,
Lunar and Rolling Homes, as well as larger van conversions from both Hillside and IH – all these being Volkswagen-based.
But my favourite new motorhome this month is Hymer’s B-SL. It ain’t cheap but this superb A-class really stands out as something extra special.
