MIRACLES DO HAPPEN
She’s got more energy to train since her daughter started sleeping through the night, but running mum Claire Chamberlain still needs extra motivation now and then…
KEEP RUNNING, MUMMY!
Cold toes, happy heart
A miracle appears to have occurred in the Keep Running Mummy household: at the grand old age of two years and 10 months, my daughter has started SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT.
No longer do yells of, “MUMMY!” drag me out of a blissful slumber at 2am. (OK, this still happens sometimes, because she is a human child and not a programmable robot, but still, it’s happening less often so as far as I’m concerned, it’s a win). And yes, it’s taken an AGE (my son didn’t start sleeping through properly until just before she was born, so I’ve endured more than five years of broken sleep in total). But she’s slowly figuring it out, all by herself. I’m so proud of her (though mostly, I’m just relieved).
