If you can run a 5K, does that mean you have it in you to run a 10K?
1 @Carol Bird
“I have finished lots of 10Ks but never run all the way. Up to running 8K this week and a 10K planned for May. Here’s hoping I can run it all.”
2 @Emma Dutton
“If you want to run a 10K all the way, slow your early pace to what might even be described as ‘painfully slow’ and then pick up in the second half – and you’ll run it for sure. However, all the finish line knows is that you got there – not how you got there. So be proud no matter what!”
3 @Lynne Shepley
“Start off slow – then get slower! This tactic helped me to complete a 10K until I got the self-belief to pick up the pace in the second half. Training with a friend who is a bit quicker is also a great way to get faster and learn to believe in yourself.”
