MY PB

The runner Kelsey Bragg

Day job Former A&E nurse, currently focusing on training and writing

The result Knocking over two minutes off her marathon PB, set just seven days previously

Just weeks before the Detroit Marathon last year, Kelsey Bragg, 27, from Michigan, found out that one of her all-time favourite marathons would be taking place the week after Detroit. In previous years, both marathons had fallen on the same day. Tempted by the Grand Rapids Marathon’s fantastic course, and the fact that her sister and brotherin- law live in the city, giving her an opportunity to see them before moving to the UK, Kelsey decided to sign up to the race.
