A definite favourite with one of our testers, these have a sporty yet delicate style and don’t feel or look too cumbersome, as some sports sunglasses do. Designed specifically to fit small faces, the frames are light and offer a really comfortable wrap-around fit – they are barely noticeable. The glasses didn’t come loose – even when running at speed and down steep descents – and the nosepiece can be adjusted to get the fit just right, simply by squeezing it. The Fire lenses in our test set reduced glare on a very sunny evening, giving a clear view at all times, and didn’t fog up during a sweaty session – they’d be great for cycling, too. You can select from a range of lenses for your running conditions, with options to enhance contrast as well as different levels of light filtering. The lenses are allegedly 20 times more impact-resistant than glass, too, although we didn’t give them the drop test!
