Trying to keep fit while juggling home schooling, working from home and maintaining your household may feel impossible. However, you have lots of options when it comes to keeping fit at home while the kids are off school, and if you get your kids involved, the whole family benefits. Hopefully, you’ll have fun too!
Speed up playtime
“When it’s playtime for the kids, you can also get involved and burn some calories too,” suggests Alexandra Parren, a mum, personal trainer and content manager at Sundried Activewear (sundried.com). “If you have an energetic toddler, run around with them by playing adrenaline-fuelled games that involve chasing. If your children are a little older, find games where you can all get active together, especially in the garden where you can benefit from the fresh air and vitamin D.” How about a bit of Ultimate Frisbee for starters?
