Laurie is a busy mum/ stepmum and co-founder of The Natural Deodorant Co, which she set up five years ago with her exhusband. She works from home and has to combine long hours and running around looking after the children, but she tries to fit training and running in at least five or six days a week. Laurie sees fitness as essential self-care, both for her body and her wellbeing, so she tries to prioritise it. She recently got a puppy so that’s been the perfect opportunity to get her exercise in!
What do you normally eat?
Breakfast is a big deal in our house. Every day, I have a big bowl of oats with almond milk, banana, peanut butter, flax seeds and pear, and sometimes dried fruit. I love breakfast! Lunch is soup or a sandwich with fruit or crudités and dinner is usually a huge salad. I love adding kimchi or sauerkraut to give it a vinegary tang.
