Congratulations to Hannah Cockroft who won the Citi Disability Sportswoman of the Year at the Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year awards, for her stellar season, setting four world records at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix, and setting a new world-leading time in the T34 100m and the T34 200m.
Congratulations are also due to Katarina Johnson-Thompson, who was nominated in the awards. Her 2023 has also been a joy to watch, with her second world championship gold in Budapest in August. Her performance was nothing less than spectacular, with a PB in the 800m, in a time of 2:05:63.
