With the recent TV programme on BBC, Wim Hof’s popularity has risen and we’ve become more aware of the benefits of cold therapy. Hof earned his name ‘Iceman’ after undergoing a series of sub-zero challenges, including climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the arctic circle barefoot, and staying submerged in a container of ice cubes for almost two hours. “It’s beneficial after a long period of physical exertion. Incorporating ice baths into your exercise regime can reap several benefits, including alleviating muscle soreness, boosting muscle repair, performance improvement and much more.”
