This Asics top looks great on and you can tell the range has been designed by women for women. I particularly like the styling around the neck, the sleeves are a good length, and the back scallops lower than the front to flatter the silhouette. The fabric is ultra-light fine mesh, made of 50% recycled material, and performs well but I would definitely layer up in colder weather. It washes well and is quick drying too. There are some subtle reflective logos on the spine and cuffs for visibility. This top comes in three gorgeous colours and I found the fit to be true to size. A good standard long sleeve that will be worn all year round.

If you’re used to wearing that sort of ‘cold’- feeling technical fabric against your skin when you go for a run, then read on, because it doesn’t need to be that way. This is made of a mix of bamboo and, weirdly, wood pulp, and the result is a super light, stretchy, ludicrously soft, and technically efficient fabric. Mine is in red, and the colour is proper lush. My only small reservation is that I would have preferred the cut to be a bit closer under my arms.
