Why fad diets don’t work We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: jumping on the fad diet wagon will only make you feel miserable.
Skipping meals or cutting out certain foods will also make it harder to reach your long-term goals, slow down your metabolism and potentially make you miss out on certain nutrients.
A balanced diet is always a better approach to take when considering changes to your regular eating routine. Over-restriction leads to cravings and can encourage bingeing, which will automatically throw any healthy aims you have off course.
