“We are raising money for Cancer United and Macmillan Cancer Support by selling a calendar we have put together,”says Julia.
“We are the largest all-female running club in Sussex with 215 female members and have, unfortunately,witnessed how cancer has affected so many of our runners and their families.
“Many of our members have been through cancer themselves – most commonly breast cancer – and returned to running after recovering. These women continue to be an inspiration to the rest of us.Many of us have also had family members affected or sadly lost to cancer.
