It’s easy to be sceptical about how benefi cial an insole can be, and I felt like that about these at first, but now I wouldn’t be without them. They’re firm due to a carbon fibre stabiliser cap under the heel part of the insole, and this is solid and supports you on impact. They’re thicker than your normal insole, so they’re not really suitable for more minimal shoes or a 5K race day, but I always wear them in my every-day trainers and I have recommended them to other runners who have suffered from niggles.
