These are as cosy as bed socks, thanks to the wool-mix material, with extra padding at the heel and ball of the foot. The comfy cushioning makes them quite thick, so you’ll need to wear them with shoes that aren’t too tight to avoid blisters. I’m a size 6 and the 6-8.5 size were quite roomy on me. I found they made my feet a little warm during the height of summer running, but they are fab for hitting the trails in the autumn and winter as they come quite high up the leg.
