Even though the sizing is S, M, L etc, the Focus fits like it’s tailor-made. Waterproof and fully seam-sealed, this jacket is perfect for running in our unpredictable UK weather. It’s incredibly lightweight and breathable: the website says it meets Ultra Trail mandatory gear requirements, and it certainly feels that technical – and yet it looks great too, particularly in this beautiful jade. There’s venting under the arms, and in the hood, and you can really feel the benefit of that on longer runs when it’s tipping down. In terms of design, the combination of the longer length in the body, the longer arms with plenty of space for movement, the interior zipped pocket and the drawstring waist makes this jacket feel like it was designed by a woman who runs, which is just about the biggest compliment we can give apparel. It doesn’t even rustle when you run!
