It’s an essential piece of kit if you’re taking on multi-stage trail races such as the brand’s own Original Mountain Marathon in Scotland. A lot of research has gone into ensuring you stay as warm as possible if you’re up on the Scottish mountains in challenging weather. It packs down small enough to just take up a corner of your pack and it’s ultra lightweight. The price makes it an investment piece but if you have big plans for races or solo adventures, you’ll be so grateful for it (I’d also advise buying the liner to go into a bag if you feel the cold like I do). With the mummy shaping, it tapers towards your feet so there’s not much room to move your legs.
