What’s on for writers

The Huddersfield Literary Festival is celebrating its tenth anniversary as this WM hits newsstands, with this year’s events running 3-13 March.

The 2016 Festival will mark the bicentenary of the birth of the great Yorkshire writer, Charlotte Brontë, as well as the centenary of the Huddersfield-born Harold Wilson. Guest authors include Michael Billington, Joanne Harris, Christopher Fowler, Rupert Thompson and Irvine Welsh. Come along on Saturday 5 March and you might just bump into WM staff.
