Take control of your web presence as Greta Powell talks through the basics of Wordpress and Adobe web design software

This month’s column takes a walk on the web side of things with one reader wondering exactly what Wordpress is and whether it is versatile enough for her needs. Having already purchased the Creative Cloud another reader considers which, if either, of its two web design applications could be utilised to design a small personal website.

QI have been told that one of the best ways to create a website is with Wordpress which apparently is both free, and easy to learn. Apparently you can even have your own domain name on the website as well but I am slightly confused about this because I thought that Wordpress was strictly a blogging site. Can you clarify this for me please?
