The Creativate National Writing Competition is a new national creative writing prize organised and run by UK Creative Arts and the National Arts Advisory Board in aid of Book Trust. It has been established to help unknown writers recognised by industry professionals, and is open to all unpublished and self-published writers in the UK.
The competition is in six categories of full-length fiction: YA, drama, romance, crime/mystery, science fiction and fantasy. Winners will be awarded grants to attend creative writing courses as well as cash prizes between £50 and £250. The winners’ biographies, and samples of their work, will be featured in UK Creative Arts’ 2016 annual report.

All entrants, postal or online, must complete and include an entry form with their submission. Postal entrants can download one from the website. The entry fee is £15 (payable online or by cheque to UK Creative Arts Ltd).Writers may send up to four entries.
