Sweet Dreams

I like your drawing of the bridge.

PS You look cute when you’re sleeping.

That wasn’t supposed to sound pervy. Sorry. I’ll leave you to it.

I’m still here. I just wanted to say I really do like the sketch of the bridge. I walk across that bridge every day on my way to work, so it caught my eye. I had a flick through to see what else you’d drawn. I’m sorry I looked. To be fair you haven’t done much, but I do like the bridge.

I better go now, before you wake up. Bye!

Yeah, I’m still here, watching you sleep, writing in your notebook. It’s not every day you go for a walk and stumble across a girl asleep on the hillside. The notebook was lying there, open on the bridge page, and the pencil rested against it like an invitation. Mum always used to say I should be more spontaneous. Does this count? I think so.
