Reality TV star and rescue advocate Pete Wicks has teamed up with Co-op to raise awareness of the importance of pet insurance and the benefits of rehoming.
Following 160,000 ‘pandemic pups’ already being given up by their owners, Co-op’s new pet insurance scheme is designed to make adopting a rescue dog or cat more affordable. It features an introductory discount on policies for those insuring a pet from a recognised animal charity or rescue centre, plus access to unlimited video consultations with vets 24/7, 365 days a year, as well as dental and farewell cover (subject to terms and conditions).
