Try something new
Once
your puppy is a year old, a great many new opportunities will open up and you may decide to try a new sport. There are many activities to choose from, but here are a few ideas.
AGILITY
It is not advisable to train dogs on any agility equipment before the age of 12 months, but, as with many sports, you and your dog can enrol in a puppy foundation course to practise some basic techniques that will lay the groundwork for his future progress.

HEELWORK TO MUSIC
If you love trick training and obedience, you may enjoy heelwork to music. You can choose from heelwork, where the dog works mainly in set positions and gains marks for accuracy and musical interpretation, or freestyle, where you can use props, and the dog can work away from the handler without being penalised.
