Q My 10-year-old terrier-cross has recently had surgery for the removal of bladder stones. The analysis of the stones revealed that they were calcium oxalate, and I was advised that there is no guarantee that they will not return. However, he seems much happier following surgery, and he is due for another vet check in the next few weeks, when his urine will be tested again. He has also been put on a veterinary prescribed diet to reduce the risk of the stones reforming. Is there anything else I can do to minimise the chances of this happening again?
