This colourful piece will add a real splash of light to your home. We started with a basic white side table from Ikea; we then cut a square hole in it and attached a set of plug-in lights to illuminate from underneath. We then covered it with deep blue Perspex and pretty white fretwork panels, plus a few lengths of moulding and some beading around the edges for a finishing touch.
