1 Each year, to mark Epiphany, motorcyclists from all over Italy take part in LA BEFANA BENEFICA, a procession for charity which is led by the figure of La Befana, the witch of folklore who delivers presents on Epiphany eve. Beginning at Milan’s cathedral with a speech from the mayor and a blessing by the Bishop of Milan, the motorcycle procession delivers food and gifts to people in need around the city. 6 January
