Guisborough Town may have found the goalscorer of their dreams – in the form of goalkeeper, Jordan Nixon. The former Middlesbrough Academy keeper has already netted twice this season, scoring two last-gasp goals in the opening weeks of the season. His first came for the Priorymen in an FA Cup tie against Newton Aycliffe and his second came in a Northern League Division One clash with Hebburn Town as Guisborough claimed a dramatic 3-3 draw. “I’d prefer we were home and dry in the 90th minute in matches,” said his manager, Gary Forster. But where’s the fun in that?
