Autumn is a rich season of rusty hues, soft light and late warmth with occasional sharpness in the air as winter approaches. Our gardens are naturally preparing for dormancy but there is plenty for us gardeners to do to help it along its way. It is a time to tidy and make good for the cold winter months ahead and in this supplement we look at the different areas of the garden and what jobs are important for each at this time of year. So enjoy your autumn garden and appreciate the cycle of life and enjoy the last flurry of activity before the winter rest.
