Inspired!

In the November 2018 issue and again in the March 2019 issue, the article A Garden Journal by Ann Mortimer inspired me. I am no gardener, but the inspiration was adapted for our local park. I am a member of the friend’s group and I started a book of small paintings and drawings of the park, using my favourite media.

So far, among the eight pieces done, I have: A Secret Garden – a broken fence with foliage around it in watercolour; Post Haste – two posts and winter trees in pen with the red tops of the posts picked out; and Fun Guy – fungi on a tree stump using watercolour pencils and gouache.
