Highlights Attic Art Club

The annual Attic Art Club exhibition at The Village Hall, 18 Lewes Road, Ditchling BN6 8TT from 23 to 26 August is part of the Brighton and Hove Arts Council Trail. Open from 12 noon until 8pm on Friday 23 August, then from 10am to 5pm from 24 to 26 August.

Bothwell Art Club

The annual Bothwell Art Club exhibition will take place in the Bothwell Parish Church Centre (next to the Chapterhouse Café), Main Street, Bothwell G71 8EX on 14 September, 10am to 5pm and 15 September, 11.30am to 5pm, during the village scarecrow festival. A selection of work by the late Eddie Clements will be on show including his painting of Sunflowers (above). For more information visit Bothwell Art Club on Facebook.

Bridgnorth & District Arts Society

This year, the Bridgnoth & District Arts Society’s annual exhibition, themed Art Among the Pews, will take place at St Leonard’s Church, St Leonard’s Close, Bridgnorth from 20 August until 1 September. Established in 1985, the Bridgnorth & District Arts Society (BDAS) is open to artists of all abilities and styles, from beginners and keen amateurs through to professionals. As well as weekly painting session and monthly art demonstrations, the society organises workshops with professional artists, and visits to art galleries and exhibitions.
