The nation’s obsession with gin continues apace with news that the Lime Wood in Hampshire is to offer guests a bespoke spirit, only available on-site, joining Raffles Hotels and the Dorchester in selling their own hotel-brand gin. Distiller Martin Miller’s has gone the other way and bought three hotels. A decent gimlet is guarantee.d at each. Other new gins to look out for on your travels: Gatwick’s Thomas Culpeper, the world’s only airport-distilled gin, on sale in North Terminal bars, and Eurostar’s Toujours 21, created by Raymond Blanc.
