Companies like Onefinestay pioneered serviced apartments – high-end digs with hotel-style trappings. Their former CEO now works for the more a ordable Sweet Inn, with 550 apartments across Europe and Israel. Guests can add paid-for extras, but those who don’t go for an airport pick-up, chef or filled fridge can use the app’s free features, such as location-specific tips and a WhatsApp concierge. Our features editor Orla Thomas tested some out on a brief stay in one of its Lisbon apartments (from £50 per person per night; sweetinn.com).
