The latest four episodes of the Hitchhiker’s Guide To the Galaxy are now available on vinyl for the first time from Demon Music Group. First broadcast in 2006, the Quintessential Phase is based on the Mostly Harmless novel and covers episodes 23-26 of the cult BBC radio series. It’s pressed on pink vinyl with a limited edition of 500 including a signed Arthur Dent print, available exclusively through Amazon. The two 180g heavyweight discs come in illustrated wallets inside a rigid bound 20-page book with sleeve notes by Simon Jones and an overview of the series’ development by Douglas Adams’ official biographer Jem Roberts. Guest appearances come from Jonathan Pryce, John Challis, Mitch Benn, Michael Fenton Stevens, Saeed Jafrey, Miriam Margolyes, Grif Rhys Jones, Stephen Moore and Jane Horrocks. Also out now in Demon’s Live series are Steve Hackett Live 1990, Asia Live 1990 and Buzzcocks Live 1990 & 1992.
