TURNTABLE
The Scheu Analog Diamond turntable exerts a vice-like grip on bass frequencies and rhythms
Having previously tested Scheu’s most affordable turntable, the Cello, I have before me now the company’s second from top-of-therange model, the Diamond. Actually, I’m reviewing three products here: the turntable itself, the tonearm and the cartridge. Scheu doesn’t offer this combination as an off-the-shelf package. However, if you purchase the turntable, the Cantus tonearm and MC Scheu SL cartridge make natural bedfellows.
