Europe’s longest-running LGBTQ publication, Gay Times magazine has been sharing hard-hitting, opinionative content to the community for over 35 years. With their mission being ‘the most trusted source of information for the whole LGBTQ community’ we believe they’re doing just that.
Whether you’ve been with Gay Times throughout the 35 years and you are excited about this milestone, or you’ve stumbled upon the magazine recently and instantly got hooked, then you’ll love joining us in celebrating 500 issues!
If you’re looking for the latest issues, news and events in the LGBTQ community or you’re just curious about the latest celebrity interviews and style advice, Gay Times packs it all. In recent years, Gay Times magazine was aimed at gay and bisexual men, however, this has since expanded to cater for the entire community, no matter your gender. This makes Gay Times the biggest brand in the queer publication world, coming out on top if it was in RuPaul’s Drag Race.
What we love about the 500th issue
As Gay Times magazine likes to do, there are multiple covers with the 500th issue, and the star-studded cover icons are Aaron Philip, Chella Man, Rickey Thompson, Blair Imani as well as a throwback illustration of the first-ever cover.
Throughout the issue, you’ll discover exclusive interviews and honest opinions with members of the LGBTQ community. Instead of focusing too much on how far Gay Times has come, the intention was on sharing the stories of today's readers, those fighting for what they believe in and giving the recognition to those going against the status quo.
This issue is incredibly inspiring, eye-opening and realistic, much like all of Gay Times magazine. As Tag Warner says in the opening words “there hasn’t been a time like now and I’m so excited to step foot into tomorrow with more of you”.
