Posthumously celebrating the life of Queen Elizabeth II, a Class 66 and a ‘67’ are turned out in commemorative liveries, replicating the schemes applied by GBRf and DB Cargo, respectively. GBRf’s 66734 Golden Jubilee in GBRf’s Europorte-style livery completes the ‘Royal’ trio.
Additionally, 67024 sports the current GBRf livery, as applied to the prototype last year. Haymarket’s Class 08 08570, in InterCity ‘Swallow’, is bound to be popular with BR-era modellers and Hornby’s re-tooled HST power cars are being offered in GNER blue/red for the first time, along with a full set of Mk 3 coaches (£44.99 each), allowing a full prototypical rake to be modelled.
Finally, the Class 153 gains another run out in Hornby’s catalogue, carrying First Great Western’s ‘Local Lines’ scheme.
