Rapido has launched a range of ‘Iron Mink’ wagons for ‘N’ gauge, following the success of the manufacturer’s ‘OO’ version last year. They’re based on the GWR’s V6 design, thousands of which were built from the late 1800s, with many lasting well into BR days, when they travelled as far afield as Inverness. The ‘N’ gauge ‘Iron Minks’ will be offered in triple-packs, in various GWR and BR liveries.
Additionally, several triple-packs of ‘Not Quite Minks’ will also be produced, offering a close approximation of similar wagons built for other operators during the same period.
