The Eifel mountains echoed to the sounds of V12 Ferraris with the return after a three-year absence of the Nürburgring Classic. Although small scale when compared to events such as the Goodwood Revival, the German organisers pulled together an impressive number of grids including touring cars, sports cars and GTs as well as demo runs by F1 legends.
Chief among these were an ex-Gilles Villeneuve Ferrari 312 T3 and glorious-sounding 643, as well as a Benetton B192 from 1992 formerly driven by local favourite Michael Schumacher.
