MUSICTECH GEAR OF THE YEAR 2016 Keep on voting!

There’s still time for you to vote for your favourite gear of 2016 with the MusicTech Gear Of The Year Awards…

We announced the nominations for this year’s MusicTech Gear Of The Year awards in the last issue of the magazine and there’s still a chance to vote (until the end of November) before the winners will be announced next month.

As we said last issue, we’ve altered the categories to reflect the surge in interest in modular synthesis ( so it gets a category all to itself). We’ve also been more lenient in our inclusions, as not all have been reviewed (some DAW updates just weren’t worthy of reviewing this year, but that doesn’t necessarily make the inclusion of the DAW in question not worthy).

About MusicTech

In this issue of MusicTech it's tips, tips and more tips… and a free calendar! Tips are always good and and this time, we’ve gone a little further: we’ve asked studios across the world, big and small, to offer their nuggets of wisdom. And they have, in their droves. So we have over 70 pro tips plus a calendar full of pictures of the best studios in the world! Elsewhere we have reviews of the plug-in that does your mixing, the new and rather incredible Keyscape from Spectrasonics and the latest modular synths – both reviews and tutorial. Add the usual software workshops, and over a 1GB of free samples and it's an end of year issue not to be missed!
