I was introduced to photography about 20 years ago, by chance. I learned how to develop rolls of film during an internship at a newspaper. I then became a press photographer for a while before completely changing my career path. Today, photography is no longer my profession but I continue as an author, working on subjects on a long-term basis. I work mainly in black and white, but for some subjects colour is the natural choice, such as this project.
