Vegan cannoli now available in the UK
Vegans can now enjoy the sweet taste of authentic Italian cannoli.
Dolcetta is a fully vegan Italian artisan bakery in London, specialising in delicious sweet treats such as decadent cupcakes, biscotti fiorentini, meringues and their award-winning amaretti biscuits. Even dogs are catered for, as specially made biscotti are also available for your furry friends.
Now, they have added to their ever increasing menu of delights by bringing us authentic Italian cannoli.
Founder of Dolcetta, Lexi Galli commented: “To me, mastering a Vegan Cannoli was the holy grail and I had put it off for such a long time as it is one of the most technically difficult pastries to get right, even before trying to ‘veganise” an egg and dairy heavy dessert, but celebrations were never the same without them so I got baking! These cannoli are as good as any dessert, vegan or not, could get. You can’t ask for more than that!”
Available in a range of sumptuous flavours including pistachio, chocolate, chocolate and citrus, hazelnut and chocolate, hazelnut, pistachio and chocolate, hazelnut and citrus, and pistachio and citrus, these chocolate-dipped cannoli are filled with sweet vegan ricotta and are dipped in either candied peel, nuts or dark chocolate chips.
